On November 27th, we gathered near the historic Hacienda Yaxcopoil in Yucatán for a heartfelt community event honoring the women who keep Mexican heritage and artisanal traditions alive.

This gathering was a simple yet powerful gesture of gratitude.
For generations, the women of this community have preserved Yucatán’s cultural identity — safeguarding traditional embroidery, protecting the Mayan language, and passing down artisanal craftsmanship that defines the region.
